The Reploid Room - Bar

As you enter the bar area, you notice the fine chrome rail that stretches almost all the way around the pseudo-circular room. The bar is a full service station, equipped with not one, but two menus - reploid and human. A few back doors imply a kitchen in the back. The rest of the room is set up in lavish velvet booths and tables. A few very sweetly dressed female reploids and humans wait on folks, here to serve you. Kick back and enjoy!

Flash Man is, at the moment, seated up at the bar, nursing a martini as if he hasn't any other care in the world. Those who've been keeping tabs on him, though, would notice otherwise. Every so often, he takes a golden pocketwatch out of his jacket, and eyes it, then sighs, placing it back inside.

Knight Man heads into the Reploid Room Bar, in his much hated Civilian disguise. Can't take any chances these days, it's more for convenience than being undercover. He gets much better service in these places if people don't know he's a Robot Masters, ignorant cretins.

Looking around the bar, he decides to get his usual seat, and orders a strong ale. He doesn't notice, nor recognize Flash Man right away. He hasn't had the chance to read every last report during his... time off, and Flash Man isn't one of his brothers he's had much to do with in the past.

Flash Man happens to be seated right beside where Knight's had a seat. He drums his fingers on the bartop, looking somewhat restless, and he nearly pops right out of his seat when an attractive young brunette woman enters the bar. However, his interest immediately wanes; apparently, it's not who he was hoping for. With a sigh, he returns to his drink.

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Guts Man transmits, "Commander Quint, where should I beat up this little girl?"

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Elite Master. No, really. Quint transmits, "What's this, now?"

Knight Man doesn't take much notice to the person sitting next to him. One of them had better recognize the other, or this'll go nowhere. Knight's civilian visage is familiar to many of the Robot Masters, but if they've had nothing to do with him, nor don't really know of the antagonism between him and Tron Bonne, then he probably wouldn't be so familiar. Of course.... there is ONE trait about him that does make him stand out... a little bit.

He downs the rest of the ale that was served to him, and mutters "Weak..." He signals the bartender "Barkeep! I art sure thou hast stronger ale that this slop. This wouldn't even taketh the finish off bar!" He mutters as the bartender goes to fetch him something stronger.

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Guts Man transmits, "The tank girl wants to battle me. Where should I meet up with her to beat the crap out of her?"

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Elite Master. No, really. Quint transmits, "Wherever you want."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Guts Man transmits, "Even in Las Vegas?"

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Elite Master. No, really. Quint transmits, "Whatever."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Guts Man transmits, "What if I want to do battle with her on your springy bed?"

Flash Man can't help but chuckle, once Knight opens his mouth. He may as well not even try for a disguise, really...or at least not talk while he's in one. Still chuckling, he interjects: "Bartender, I'll pick up his tab."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Elite Master. No, really. Quint transmits, "No."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Guts Man transmits, "Aw."

You'd be surprised how people never notice. In fact, it's sort of the opposite, Knight Man doesn't do much talking when he goes on missions, his job is to smash things, not be chatty.

He turns to frown at the man sitting next to him "And what tis thine problem?" He grunts, as Flash chuckles "Why on earth dost thou want to picketh up mine tab?" And another thing he's known for, just being plain unfriendly to just about everyone, even someone who decides to pay for his drink.

Flash Man can't help but chuckle. He's not normally a really nice guy to EVERYONE...but he has a lot of patience when it comes to dealing with his brothers. Most of the time, when they get ornery with him, it just ends up being really funny to him because most all of them are his 'little' brothers anyhow. "Shut your flue, and maybe you'll find out why," he says in his trademark British/Lancashire accent, looking all kinds of amused. Lowering his voice, he murmurs quietly... "It's just your mate, it's Flash, lookin' out for you."

Knight Man blinks "Oh right." He snorts, as the bartender finally arrives with his stronger drink, a rather unpleasent-looking thick black liquid. He grabs the drink out of his hand, and gives the bartender a bit of a glare, telling him not to eavesdrop and mind his own business. He hmphs as he takes a sip, before speaking again "So what art thou doing here anyway? Thou seemed a bit jumpy a few moments ago..."

Flash Man sighs. "I tell you, chap, I am having more personal problems lately than a...bloody -soap opera-. Even Enker's offered to help sort it out, but...it's really not the sort of thing I want to get him in on, even though it was right good of him to offer. You see...at precisely 25 minutes after the hour, I had anticipated that my girlfriend would come walking through that door, and we would be well on the way to making up by now. But it would seem that she has changed her schedule, and...therefore, we are still on the outs." He takes a sip of his martini. "Right complicated business, that. Anyhow...how's it been with yourself?"

Knight Man takes a sip of his drink, and sighs. Why some of his brothers even bother with outside relationships is beyond him. Knight doesn't have any want to waste his time in that manner, his opinion of women isn't very high. And it is that very opinion that landed him in those several situations with Tron. But that's all a very long story, and if Flash isn't aware of it, as unlikely as that would be, then Knight isn't getting into it. He just grunts as Flash goes on about his relationship problems, noting his disinterest in that topic. And he ignores his characteristic preoccupation with time, all of his brothers have their quirks afterall.

"Mineself? I had takeneth some time off as Lord Wily has offered when I accepted mine last assignment." He says with a low voice, there's not many sitting around him, but even so, his disguise is one he'd like to keep secret. "Wasted all that time on the Gesellschaft, ordered to keepeth an eye on her since we thought that some trouble might ariseth with her and the Stardroids. And nothing." He grumbles "In the end, nothing cameth of it, so I had to wasteth all that time around her and those wretched servbots." He pauses taking a sip of his drink. He DID put Tron in tears with some well-timed mean spirited words at one point, so it wasn't a COMPLETE loss.

"TRON?? Oh, strewth, man, no wonder you're in a sore mood! Have as many drinks as you need." Flash comforts, then checks his watch again in irritation. "Coo-r, women are troublesome, they are."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Peon Tengu Man transmits, "..hn."

Knight Man is always in a sore mood, but that's beside the point. He's not one to accept comfort of any kind, but he'll always take free drinks! He grumbles, as he finishes off his second drink "They art not worth the trouble..." He mutters. Indeed, Tron is probably the only girl he has ever had any dealings with to any large extent. If he didn't like dealing with women before, he really hates the thought of it now. Knight's own stubbornness in dealing with women almost makes him seem sort of naive, like a little boy who hates girls for no other reason that they have cooties. It's a bit more complex than that, but it's not a very bad example.

Flash Man says, "There, now. Look at it this way: if you spend your time making a fuss over her, and feeling poorly about it, then...that's time you could have spent better, you know? It's always, ALWAYS a good idea to spend your time wisely."

[Radio: (B) RMSecureI] Bass transmits, "Time for a patrol. All active Robot Masters, please converge on these coordinates for maneuvers. <OOC: coordinates are to a Joe garrison in southern Egypt>"

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Guts Man transmits, "Yes sir!"

Flash Man says, "Mm -- looks like I've got a call to answer, and promptly."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Cut Man transmits, "I was /just/ about to go off duty, too..."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Peon Tengu Man transmits, "Gotcha."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Red Leader! Crash Man transmits, "No slacking, Cut Man!"

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Flash Man transmits, "On it."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Guts Man transmits, "You heard the Co-Commander Cut!"

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Cut Man transmits, "Sorry, Crash Man, wo-... wait, oh. /Right/. Sorry SIR, Crash Man!"

Knight Man grunts "I'll spendeth mine time as I wish, and how Lord Wily deems I should spendeth it. He states. "And I don't wish to speaketh of her any longer. If I hadeth mine way I'd never have to dealeth with her again!" He mutters as he orders another drink. Bass' message comes through over the radio "Bah, I'm still on vacation..." He says as he orders another drink. He won't even bother responding over the radio, that'll just get half the RMs and Bass on his back.

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Cut Man mutters quietly to himself.

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Red Leader! Crash Man transmits, "Aw, call me Red Leader."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Cut Man transmits, "Must I, Red Leader?"

Flash Man patpats Knight steadily on the shoulder. "Take it easy, then. Enjoy your holiday. I'll speak with you later." Then...off he goes!

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Red Leader! Crash Man transmits, "Sure. It'll help facilitate better, uh.. I dunno, I just like being called Red Leader."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Cut Man transmits, "Yes, Red Leader..."

[Radio: (A) RMBroadband] Red Leader! Crash Man transmits, "Schwing!"
